NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting July 12

Service Description

Course topics include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety. Additionally, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Instructor. Students will receive the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination and receive a course completion certificate. I have a 4 student limit in this classes. A $15 discount will be given for the second person if you bring a friend (when you pay the balance). Classroom portion of class is held in the second floor theater room with stairs and elevator access. The qualification portion of the class will be at a local out door shooting range. You do not need to own a handgun to take this class. (If you wish to qualify at level 4 after successfully completing levels 1 through 3 you may bring your own pistol and at least 25 rounds of ammo to do so, time permitting.) Only people who are legally permitted to own a firearm may register for and take any of my classes. Children 10 years of age and older may take the class if accompanied by a legal gardian taking the class.
